Short Stories

My plan for the following four weeks is to start revising some of the short stories I wrote last year. There are officially nine of them, and unofficially thirteen. The goal is to have the collection "done" in the coming few months. I'm simultaneously excited and exhausted about this!

I'm rooting for you. Can't wait to read them in book format. :)

btw, it ocurred to me that at the rate I'm going, we'll be graduating from our MFA programs at the SAME time.

thanks, lady! it occurs to me that if you were around i'd read some of them to you...i find reading stories out loud is the best way to figure out how to go about revising them.

nothing is as boring as revising something you wrote. what makes it worthwhile is if someone reads them and gives you feedback. then only can one perhaps find enough stamina to undertake the drudgery of revising.
