That reminds me of the last two Jews in Afghanistan. They fought too! The older one died in 2005. Here's an article from SFGate on Zebulon Simentov, the last to remain.

it's funny-- must be all the pressure from having to keep the language alive...or something. but what can you do? if someone really really pisses you off, why stay friends?
