From the designer whose "Size 10" is rrrreally like a size 6 or 8 elsewhere. :)
Though CHANEL makes awesome clothes and their fit is MARVELOUS.
Chanel's classic tailleur is not for big women anyway. At least not for this big woman. The detailing is too little and fussy. I would wear an old-school 1920s Chanel dress maybe but the tiny fussy braid, the high armholes, the hip length jacket - none of these items would look proportionate on my 6' frame even if they were in my size.
Armani maybe. Somebody else who does grand tailoring; Donna Karan although she's not couture. Anyway French women tend to be petite so the grand French couture generally doesn't suit Amazons like me unless they are super skinny Amazon models, in which case the hems and back waists still have to be let out.
